Originally from Glasgow, Stephen is now a settled and happy family man enjoying life in Shropshire. With an early career rooted in Local Government, Stephen transitioned into the Health and Social Care sector, where he focused on Corporate Affairs and Business Improvement. Before joining St. Vincent’s, he led a major Health and Social Care provider’s business improvement team, co-founding their Modern Apprentice program and transforming both the legal and procurement teams—turning the former into a nationally awarded group and digitalizing the latter to become fully paperless.

Since joining StV Operations in 2017, Stephen has been instrumental in St. Vincent’s continuous improvement and the development of our Target Operating Model. His impact was immediate, helping a major trust achieve EPR go-live within his first six months on the team.

Outside of work, Stephen enjoys spending time with his family in his adopted hometown of Shrewsbury. He’s an avid music fan, always up for a live gig, and is dedicated to supporting his beloved Celtic whenever he can catch a game.
