Robert has 12 years' experience at Board level within the NHS - having been Chief Operating Officer, Director of Transformation and Strategy Director.

Public, patient and governor requirements around health care delivery are his bread and butter, having presented and been held to account within a host of variety of public and patient forums e.g. strategic change, operational delivery and patient access. Forums have included public board meetings, patient engagement groups, Councils of Governors and local Health and Social Care Scrutiny Committees.

Before this he was an Army Officer for sixteen years, with two Operational tours and a tour within the Ministry of Defence focused on operational requirements for digitising the battlefield).

With 12 years of NHS leadership under his belt, he's now on a mission to make healthcare smoother than a perfectly executed military operation. In his spare time, he enjoys decoding the mysteries of public board meetings and engaging with patients – because, let's face it, a well-run health service is the ultimate victory parade!
